Wage Range: $25.47 - $39.05 per hour

Bonus:  Up to $3000 Sign on Bonus for those new to EvergreenHealth

Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and assembling medical and surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, maintaining the sterile processing areas and receiving and distributing surgical supplies and equipment. Performs routine duties in all areas of the Central Sterilizing & Processing Department.

Primary Duties

  1. Supplies all departments of the Hospital with items needed from Central Sterilizing & Processing while maintaining good interpersonal relationships:
  2. Prepares supplies, trays and instrument sets for sterilization and/or decontamination for use throughout the hospital.
  3. Knows and practices principles of aseptic technique.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of CS Technician Training Program

DESIRED for the position:

  • 1 year experience with surgical instruments
  • National certification in CSP
