Wage Range: $25.72 - $31.98

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:
Performs a wide variety of work requiring a mechanical aptitude for unskilled and limited semi-skilled activities and assists in the installation, maintenance and repair of hospital equipment, painting. Work is performed under the immediate direction of an employee of higher classification but many types of work assigned may be routine and repetitive and once learned can be carried out under only general supervision.

Primary Duties:
1. Repairs and maintains simple electrical, plumbing and mechanical devices and systems.
2. Helps in moving and setting up furniture and other equipment to support other departments.
3. Inspects building and equipment for needed repairs as directed.
4. Determines the proper course of action and implement repairs.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current Washington State Driver’s license and proof of insurability

DESIRED for the position:
• Hospital maintenance/operations experience
