Wage Range: $100,672 - $161,054 per year

Job Summary:

Responsible for overall quality of service and for planning, developing, organizing, integrating, and directing clinical programs in support of the organizational goals and commitments. Provides clinical oversight for Primary Care RN’s and Medical Assistants. Assumes accountability and responsibility for area(s) assigned.

Primary Duties:
 
  1. Collaborates with EMG leadership to develop the role of the nurse in the ambulatory setting, including scope of practice and staff development. 
  2. Oversees and collaborates with leadership to integrate ambulatory nursing into strategic initiatives of the organization.
  3. Collaborates with EHPC leadership to support implementation of standard work and provide clinical oversight of RN & MA scope of practice.
  4. Collaborates with IT on the clinical elements of EMR implementation for new clinics and optimization for existing clinics.
  5. Collaborates with the Population Health team to close care gaps and develop clinic processes to improve patient care at a population level.
  6. Collaborates with the EHPC Medical Director and the Quality Department to evaluate and implement national preventive measures.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned. 
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
 
REQUIRED for the position:
  • Degree in Nursing, either BSN or MSN 
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • Currently certified in BLS
  • 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role in a patient care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clinical/education knowledge to staff, patients, and families.
  • Ability to independently manage several diverse activities and/or a variety of concurrent programs and projects effectively while utilizing time, equipment and supplies appropriately.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and JC regulations and requirements.
DESIRED for the position: 
  • Master’s degree, may be other than Nursing if has a BSN. 
  • Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience demonstrating effective, positive, and constructive feedback skills.
