The EHA Epilepsy Medical Program Director is a leadership position that will oversee and further develop the Eastside Health Alliance (EHA) Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. The ideal candidate will have a system of care, team-based approach to guiding multidisciplinary teams in implementing evidence-based practice for best patient care aligning with the mission, vision, and values of EHA.

Job Duties:

Clinical responsibilities may include guiding and participating in the acute, chronic, and tertiary care of epilepsy patients, EEG interpretation, intracranial electroencephalography, and evaluation of patients for epilepsy surgery, including stereo EEG, Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy, intra and extra-operative functional brain mapping and neurostimulation, both in implantable devices and in the Neuromonitoring Unit (75%)

Administrative responsibilities include growth, relationship building across sites of services, building referral pathways, developing outreach initiatives within the community, and guiding our overall Epilepsy Program. Devoted to supporting outpatient clinic, inpatient service, neurosurgical candidate screening, and enhancement of seizure and epilepsy care pathways (25%).

Position Highlights:

Qualifications

- Fellowship training in epilepsy or neurophysiology required

- 4  years of leadership experience required

- Board Certified in Neurology

- Physician licensed in Washington  or eligible for medical licensure in Washington, required
