Opportunity: We are seeking a seasoned, multicultural media expert who has established industry connections, with an opportunity to grow their network. This individual thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at building consensus, and is dedicated to driving impactful brand results. In this role, the Associate Director will craft tailored multicultural media initiatives designed with business outcomes in mind. They will be responsible for building trust with clients and seamless collaboration with the Interagency Team (IAT) for delivering successful brand and media outcomes in our clients' multicultural initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Leads the strategic direction and oversees multicultural planning initiative in collaboration with internal strategy and investment, in addition to external client and agency teams
    • Includes day-to-day work, along with big ideas across gaming, the metaverse, etc.
    • Manages budget details internally and externally
  • Creates all content for presentations and client reviews
    • Strategic plan recommendations
    • Thought Leadership and POVs
  • IAT point of contact for multicultural initiatives across planning, internal teams, and external stakeholders–includes clients and agency partners (creative, PR, and sponsorships)
  • Works in partnership with the Operations lead and leadership team to establish and maintain processes that facilitate exceptional work
  • Reports to a Group Account Director and helps support/deliver vision for the brand 
Your Qualifications:
  • 7-8 years of media planning experience with a focus on crafting culture-first media opportunities for diverse audiences, including African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, LGBTQ+ communities
    • Previous agency experience strongly preferred
  • Highly skilled in infusing creativity, cutting-edge ideas, and the latest industry trends into media planning projects
  • Track record of crafting compelling media plans and narratives that resonate with senior clients, effectively guiding their high-level media strategy decisions and executions
  • Exhibits clear, diplomatic communication skills, especially when addressing complex or sensitive questions from clients or internal teams
  • Can maintain strong media partner relationships
  • Detail-oriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates an ability to be curious and passionate about our client’s business
  • Ability to work across both Google Workspace & Microsoft 365
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
