Objectives of the Role: The Sr. Analyst provides support to the Global Commercial Director and Global Compliance Manager across commercial, compliance, new business, and related reporting initiatives. |
Business Responsibilities: · Working with commercial directors, fully support creation, collection, collation, and delivery of compliance reporting related to AVB/rebates, EPDs, local contract addendums, policy notifications, and other ad hoc compliance reporting · Assisting client leaders, finance directors, and account teams by preparing ad-hoc reports and troubleshooting client-related compliance inquiries · AVB market analyses and reporting · Helping to manage a new compliance team data hub, inclusive of maintaining records of all policies, procedures, forms, templates, and online archive · Working with Analyst, Compliance in administering and maintaining local CFO certifications, as well as GroupM acknowledgment letters · Helping to manage contract compliance calendar, and corresponding global compliance contract workflow tracker. · Monitoring and tracking of global retained fees and commissions · Pricing of staff plans to determine fair fees to clients · Tracking of global client contracts · Coordinating the commercial proposals for global new business pitches, including communication to local markets, requests for data, and rollup/analysis of pricing and other data · Developing insights and summaries of data for upper management, to aid in decision making · Tracking local market communications for a given request and consolidating data · Special and/or ad-hoc projects as required

The Sr. Analyst will contribute to the building out of our Global Compliance Team. This includes understanding the full scope of our team’s progress, where their own responsibilities fit into this, and possible under- addressed areas in which they can assist with new ideas or self-led workstreams. · Prior experience or exposure to media-related concepts is a plus · Very strong analytical and quantitative skills · Strong organizational and time management skills · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate clear messages to mass audiences over email · High proficiency in Excel. Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint · General understanding of financial concepts such as revenue, costs, profit, invoicing, and cash flow · Very comfortable with algebra and simple pricing formulas · Proactive approach to create efficient methods to consolidate and maneuver through large data sets · Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Qualifications and other relevant information: · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred · 3+ years of experience in client finance, compliance, commercial or business affairs is preferred; exposure to multiple markets is a plus
