Objectives of the Role: 


Data & Tech’s products and solutions are key to delivering EssenceMediacom’sBreakthrough’ vision, helping to drive growth and efficiency for our clients. We deliver specialist media technology products and data-led services across a range of areas, from products that benefit clients (media activation optimisation, media planning, insights applications, etc.) to internal business solutions (internal websites, automation, etc.).


In this pivotal role, you'll be entrusted with the evolution of two highly promising media activation products that have already demonstrated success with some of our top-tier clients.


Collaborating with our Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams, you'll spearhead the evolution of these products. You'll craft the product strategy alongside senior Product stakeholders and collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to utilize Machine Learning and Generative AI.


This role would benefit from media activation experience and a commercial mindset, enabling you to grasp both our Agency and Client businesses. Leveraging these skills, you'll identify product requirements and supervise development to ensure these products meet business needs and achieve desired outcomes.









Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:

  • Product Management
    • Drive Product Development and Delivery - Partner with data science, data engineering, design, and subject matter experts to deliver product roadmaps against set timelines.
    • Manage trade-offs, escalate roadblocks, and take ownership of delivery to stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder Management - Support consensus driven decision making with leadership and client partners on priorities and features that prove the most business value.
    • Parse Customer and Stakeholder Feedback - Diagnose successes, failures, and opportunities for improvement. Prioritize problem areas.
    • Leverage Data and Analytics - Effectively utilize customer, product, market, and stakeholder data to meet and surpass product objectives.
    • Contribute to Agency Goals - Help in mapping product outcomes to agency goals. Support the creation of new agency revenue streams.
    • Collaborate on design of appropriate documentation and onboarding materials to support the product implementation.



  • Product Strategy
    • Research Industry and Market Trends - Understand the competitive landscape and new opportunities.  Work with senior product managers to build insights into product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
    • Opportunity and Problem Analysis - Support the capture of customer and market feedback to define addressable challenges.  Help build feedback into product roadmaps and prioritization.
    • Strategic Product Planning - Support how we deliver on the vision, strategy, roadmap, KPIs and objectives for Tech products (incl processes and products)

  • Prioritisation: You are proficient at prioritizing tasks, ensuring the most crucial tasks are completed first to keep the product development on track.
  • Analytical thinking: You can quickly understand complex methodologies and product workflows. Translate the complex into clear, actionable steps.
  • Technical Understanding: You understand the technology being used in product development and media activation, enabling you to make informed decisions.
  • Client Focus: You are client-focused, always keeping the needs and expectations of the client in mind when making decisions about the product.
