Digital Account Planner

 

Overview of role

 

We are looking for a Digital Account Planner to join the team, playing an integral role in delivering innovative campaigns across the entire digital landscape. You will be responsible for helping to drive forward digital planning principles, acting as a key coordinator across the account and ensuring you understand the importance of audience insight, source of growth and first-party data in supporting clients’ business objectives.

 

Based in our new WPP campus building in the heart of Manchester’s development district, the largest communications operation outside of London and the home for all WPP regional talent across a number of business disciplines, and an amazing place to grow your communications career and to realise your potential in a dynamic and exciting setting.

This role reports to Digital Account Director

Measures of success

 

In three months, you would have:

  • Established strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, gaining a good understanding of their business challenges and objectives and how digital media can address these as part of a multi-media communications system.
  • Make guided recommendations on digital solutions to deliver on client’s objectives.
  • Established strong relationships with media owners, day to day client contacts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage multiple campaigns at one time, planning campaigns across several brands / products at a time.
  • Completed all key training areas required to perform the role across EssenceMediacom, GroupM and external Media Owner modules.

 

 

Responsibilities of the role

 

  • Demonstrate proactivity in developing relationships with key clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • End-to-end ownership of digital campaigns - planning, execution, delivery & reporting.
  • Support the development, presentation and delivery of top-quality planning work and own the digital output.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the commercial levers and profitability of our products to drive incremental and sustainable growth for our business.
  • Embrace and demonstrate the culture and values of EssenceMediacom.
  • Understand the importance of your work in supporting the client’s business and driving the wider agency output, and be proud of the work you do.
  • Adhere to the work and finance sign-off process defined by the leadership team and working alongside your team and the client to ensure this process is seamless and continuously improving, based on overcoming any potential blockers.
