Overview of role
We’re looking for a Digital specialist to work on one of the most important and exciting parts of Sky’s business – Sky Entertainment. This product area spans all of Sky’s key programming such as Gangs of London, Brassic, as well as the corporate and environmental initiative aspects of the business. The candidate should have a general understanding of the media industry, it’s workings and have a passion for digital media specifically.
Our Digital Executives are responsible for the operational delivery of the team’s output across Display and Social, meaning you will work closely with media owners, clients and third-party partners for campaign management, optimisation, reporting and reconciliation. Strategically, you will be responsible for delivering best in class campaign performance, setting up and managing social campaigns across a host of platforms, analysing performance, and ensuring the admin fundamentals within the team set our agency and client up for success.
The role will work closely with multiple day-to-day clients, such as marketing groups, social and digital specific in-house teams. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with all, show a real passion and expertise for the work and presenting skills are essential.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Digital Account Manager

Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
- Mastered the basics of the Sky account and the ways of working.
- Taken ownership of our reporting processes.
- Began to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Fed into response to brief presentations
- Got involved in quarterly & campaign planning, decided partner spends / phasing.
- Become confident at activating our Social activity.
In six months, you would have:
- Contributed to and supported on client calls
- Started to take more ownership for briefs and recommendations
- Developed a strong relationship with our more junior clients. Be their go to person for anything digital
- Delivered brilliant work to the client
Responsibilities of the role
- Develop strong relationships with clients you have contact with, be actively engaged, personable and accessible
- Ensure an understanding of the client’s business and competitor landscape
- Respond to smaller briefs independently
- Work on proposals based on media owner ideas/solutions
- Re-working proposals based on client or planner feedback/tweaks to brief
- Maintain strong relationships with media owners
What you will need
- Desire to drive performance and improve efficiencies across a high spending client
- Base understanding of digital landscape and media such as opportunities in market, media partners, how digital works in the wider media system
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Problem solving and solutions focused mind-set
