About the role
The APAC Talent Ops Manager is responsible for increasing efficiency across a group of accounts through effective management of staff resourcing. This role will liaise with directors, discipline leads, finance, senior management, talent and the resource management team across APAC to effectively schedule and assign resources to facilitate the delivery of work.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Partner with Resource Managers to stay up-to-date on resourcing status across all current and upcoming projects
- Alert Resource Managers of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing
- Check-in on resource and line managers as work progresses, ensuring the resource plan continues to satisfy team needs and to help resolve any obstacles to completion that may arise
- Escalate to the appropriate department stakeholders any information related to: group rotations, retention/employee relations, increase or decrease in workflow and projected staffing needs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition / HR Business Partners / Business for any resourcing needs
- Ensure that data is updated in our resource management system accurately and in a timely manner
- Help to ensure agency timesheet compliance
- Generate and analyze weekly and monthly utilization reports and other ad hoc reporting
- Review existing processes and resourcing model for operational efficiencies
A bit about yourself:
Extremely well organised, process-driven and dedicated, with an outgoing personality and can-do attitude. Specifically:
- 3 - 5 years Resource Management experience
- Preferably with experience in an agency environment, supporting the delivery of digital campaigns that were delivered on time, on budget and which meet client expectations.
- Comfortable working with markets across APAC
- A proven track record in managing resources effectively, including the ability to report on effort and resolve scheduling challenges and conflicts that arise along the way
- A strong verbal and written communicator, able to build strong relationships with people at all levels of seniority
- Assertive conflict‐resolution and problem‐solving skills
- An ability to bring the best out of people; helping them develop their capabilities and improve their confidence, whilst motivating them to succeed and helping them maintain focus when necessary
- A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
