Overview of the role
This Senior Creative (Copy) role is for an ideas-first creative with a passion for crafting compelling and effective copy across a range of platforms. You’ll be a conceptual thinker who can translate brand strategy into powerful messaging, working closely with designers, strategists, and media planners to deliver breakthrough creative work.
This is a conceptual role. Ideas first. We're looking for not only a talented writer, but an idea generator with a proven track record. We work across every medium of media, advertising and partnerships.
You’ll be responsible for developing engaging copy for digital, social, and integrated campaigns, ensuring consistency in tone of voice and storytelling across all touchpoints. Whether it's a six-second social ad, a long-form article, or an innovative out-of-home activation, you’ll have the versatility to bring ideas to life through words.
As Senior Creative (Copy), you’ll play a key role in shaping the creative output of the team, pushing for innovative solutions that make brands stand out. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Creative Directors and Art Directors, to develop world-class work that resonates with audiences.

Responsibilities:
When thinking about People, this role is responsible for:
- Working closely with designers, strategists, and media teams to bring concepts to life.
- Leading brainstorms and creative sessions to generate ideas that push boundaries.
- Providing mentorship and feedback to junior creatives and copywriters.
- Clearly articulating ideas and concepts to both internal teams and clients.
When thinking about Clients, this role is responsible for:
- Understanding brand tone of voice and messaging to create consistent and effective copy.
- Translating complex ideas into compelling, clear, and concise messaging.
- Collaborating with clients to ensure alignment between creative and brand objectives.
- Delivering high-quality work that balances creativity with strategic thinking.
When thinking about Commercial, this role is responsible for:
- Brushing creative work aligns with broader business and media strategies.
- Working within project timelines and budgets to deliver exceptional work.

- Crafting compelling copy across a range of formats, from short-form social content to long-form editorial and campaign narratives.
- Ensuring messaging is optimized for different platforms, including digital, social, and print.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table, championing storytelling and innovation.
- Staying up to date with emerging trends, platforms, and cultural moments that can inform creative.
When thinking about Process, this role is responsible for:
- Leading and contributing to brainstorms and idea-generation sessions.
- Articulating and selling ideas clearly to internal teams and clients.
- Partnering with designers, art directors, and production teams to bring concepts to life.
- Advocating for the importance of copy and storytelling in multi-platform campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
The ideal Senior Creative (Copy) will be a divergent thinker and writer who is passionate about storytelling, brand building, and crafting impactful messaging across different platforms. You’ll have experience working in an agency or brand-side creative team and be confident in delivering ideas that drive engagement and results.
- 7+ years experience in a copywriting or creative role within an agency or brand environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of campaign work, digital/social content, and clever storytelling across mediums.
- Proven ability to think big, craft bold ideas, and bring them to life seamlessly across multiple platforms.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and tone of voice.
- Experience in concepting and scripting for video, social, and digital-first campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to write effectively for each.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for culture, trends, and how they influence brand communication.
