MANAGER, CORE PROCESSOR DEVELOPMENT
Description
We are looking for a digital design manager to drive a team in charge of a high-speed digital design for a RISC-V based processor. This role implies to lead the world-class ASIC work on advanced process technologies
Responsibilities
- The team manager will own and assist in the development of key modules in a high-performance system for AI applications
- The team manager will work closely with all parts of engineering to coordinate the execution of the project and the achievement of the product specifications: Architecture, Verification, Physical Design, Post-Silicon Bring Up, and Program Management
- The team manager must accurately predict schedules and track the team progress and use and assign the available resources in an optimal manner.
- The team manager will supervise and train junior engineers (based on relevant years of experience).
- The team manager will participate in internal reviews to ensure adherence to the company’s design processes and guidelines and to improve those processes and guidelines.
- The team manager will participate in the capture of new talent to incorporate to the company accordingly to the required skills.
Qualifications
- MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years managing design teams experience
- 15+ years ASIC design experience
- Experience with RISC-V based systems or similar.
- Strong knowledge of the main core processors sub-systems and concepts, pipelines, data and instruction caches, arithmetic units (fixed and floating-point), scoreboards, etc.
- Strong knowledge of ASIC and/or FPGA design methodology and should be well versed in Verilog, front-end design, simulation, synthesis, timing, power analysis and verification CAD tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Natural leading skills
