POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Associate Director of Mental Health and Recovery will serve as a key member of the Equitas Health leadership team and is responsible for the successful operation of mental health and recovery programming. To further the organization’s expanding mission, the Associate Director will work with the Director of Mental Health and Recovery to strengthen programs, improve patient outcomes, recruit, train and retain high quality providers, enhance the Epic interface and to serve the LGBTQ and BIPOC community in a culturally responsive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who embraces organizational growth and is eager to participate in the innovative expansion of programs that will result in high quality care and an excellent client experience. 
 
Salary: $84,500- $105,600 
 
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 
· Provide operational and clinical oversight for the full range of mental health and recovery services provided by Equitas Health. 
· Ensure organizational adherence to OHMAS, CARF, and other accrediting bodies. 
· Recruit, train and retain high quality providers 
· Enhance the Epic experience for providers including, template management and documentation efficiencies. 
· Assist in the collection and monitoring of program data for quality improvement, funder reporting, and business operations. 
· Oversee Chart and Peer Audit process and report findings to the Director, Quality and Compliance. 
· Assist with quality improvement plans and staff training to ensure that patience experience a high level of satisfaction with programs. 
· Incorporate competency in LGBTQ+ and BIPOC specialized programming to best support the unique needs of the community. 
· Assess productivity and billable expectations of staff and develop innovative strategies to ensure optimal utilization of programs. 
· Oversee the integration of evidence based interventions related to mental health and recovery services. 
· Monitor program fidelity and takes appropriate steps to address inconsistencies. 
· Provide support and direction to the Clinical Supervisor and Patient Access Representative who works directly with clinical staff. 
· Site visits as needed 
· Assist with cohort training. 
· Complete other related duties as assigned. 
 
EDUCATION/LICENSURE: 
· Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling. 
 
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: 
· LISW-S or LPCC-S that is current in the State of Ohio 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 
· Significant experience in managing Mental Health and or Recovery programs. 
· At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health and/or substance treatment. 
· Passion for and cultural competency in serving LGBTQ patients. 
· Demonstrated knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance coverage guidelines. 
· Ability to articulate and implement strategy and vision for Equitas Health that is consistent with the organization's strategic plan and reflective of regulatory requirements and constraints. 
· Experience using EPIC or other electronic medical records 
· Comfort with a variety of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required. 
· Must be qualified to be credentialed through the Equitas Health Board.
