Our client is looking for IT Project Manager to join

IT Project Manager

Duration: 12 months +

Industry: Oil & Gas and Power and Utilities. 

W2 employment with EPMA

Remote working. 

The PM has overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. They demonstrate technical project management skills, leadership skills and strategic and business management skills. The IT Project Manager defines project objectives and scope for each phase of the project, overseeing quality control throughout the project’s life cycle, acquiring resources, managing resources, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects/products according to plan.

Job responsibilities:

 

  1. Proficient with SDLC
  2. Strong expertise in Project Management skills PMP or similar.
  3. Understand, implement, and use critical path, buffer time planning, balance resource allocation as well as ensure task dependencies e.t.c.
  4. Experience in Merger & Acquistion 
  5. Good Experience with all other critical documents and processes to handle risks, issues and lessons learned
  6. Run Daily Stand-up, Coordinate and schedule meetings for Operational activities, tactical discussions and/or Steering Committee as needed
  7. Be a team player, and take meeting minutes and distribute to the team as needed
  8. Report dotted line to IT PMO organization, and ensure all PMO standards have been met
  9. Facilitate and coordinate access to Sunovion network and systems
  10. Author and facilitate review and approval on PM Artifacts (Project charter, project schedules, communication plans…)
  11. Follow up on project and technical issues as directed by the project manager

 

Skills:

 

  1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project
  2. Familiarity with Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet
  3. Understanding of SDLC requirements
  4. Understanding of IT Groups and Departments
  5. Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
