EPMA is seeking a talented, organized and self motivated salesperson to join our business development team, in our staffing solutions division. Former work experience in sales with a staffing agency, highly preferred, but a solid history of achievement in sales, will also be taken into consideration..

This is a customer facing sales position, with key activities in prospecting through cold calling, emailing, networking, and various other business and lead generation activities.

Our ideal candidate has a proved record of success and will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help establish new and lasting relationships with new businesses across the country. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Generate business for EPMA’s Staffing Services for both direct placements and contract placements, through the acquisition of new business, through outbound and inbound leads and expansion of acquired accounts.
  • Perform daily prospecting through cold calling, emailing, networking, and various other business & lead generation activities.
  • Cultivate, generate & grow large scale relationships for new accounts.
  • Research potential new business and current customers.
  • Manage assigned territory in an organized and systematic fashion.
  • Develop business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new and inactive customers.
  • Work well in a team environment, and also take direction from Managers, in order to ensure success.
  • Focus business development and diversification in keeping with regional and national strategy.
  • Utilize CRM to track clients through sales cycle ensuring data integrity.
  • Generate viable job orders from new and inactive accounts.
  • Generate leads through a variety of methods, including prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone and other electronic media.
  • Partner with recruiting to schedule a qualifying call to gain accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking and niche IT organizations.
  • Meet all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity and revenue growth.
  • Meet with manager and inside staff on a consistent basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities.
  • Provide information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals.
  • Work with Manager and team to set sales strategy and direction.
  • Develop and expand sales competency by continuing education and participation in training and seminars


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years minimum outside sales experience, with a proven record of success, for contract and direct hire experience preferably within IT, project management and other professional related industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proven advanced sales and customer service.
  • Former experience as a Staffing Specialist, Staffing Coordinator or Recruiter is preferred.
  • Strong technical staffing experience, preferably in IT, is preferred, but any experience in professional staffing sales will be considered.
