Description

Our client is seeking a Grid Systems Consultant to support the modernization of electric utility operations through the deployment and optimization of advanced grid management systems. This role will be instrumental in delivering Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Outage Management Systems (OMS), Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS).
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute from strategy development to implementation, including requirements definition, RFP support, software selection, and hands-on deployment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Oracle Utilities Network Management System (OMS) and possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Implement and support SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS systems.
  • Participate in commissioning, testing, and deployment of grid technologies.
  • Analyze client requirements, contribute to RFPs, roadmaps, and workshops.
  • Support program/project management activities across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation and post-deployment support.
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Oracle NMS (OMS) experience in the electric utility space.
  • Experience with AMI, DER integration, FLISR, and VVO solutions.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, DMS, and DERMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
