Senior Director of Information Technology (Hybrid)

Description

Job Duties:

  • Define and execute enterprise IT strategy and multi-year roadmap
  • Re-architect infrastructure supporting engineering applications (Autodesk, ESRI, Bentley)
  • Lead cloud strategy, infrastructure, and end-user services
  • Build and own enterprise integration across ERP, HRIS (Workday), and business systems
  • Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, and business continuity
  • Establish IT governance, project prioritization, and delivery frameworks
  • Partner with executive leadership to align IT with growth, M&A, and business objectives
  • Lead, develop, and restructure IT teams to improve performance and engagement
  • Introduce and evolve data strategy, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives

 Job Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally within an AEC / engineering consulting environment
  • Strong background in infrastructure, cloud strategy, and enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, integrations)
  • Proven experience leading IT transformation or modernization initiatives
  • Experience supporting engineering applications (Autodesk, ESRI, Bentley)
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and IT operations
  • Experience with system integration, data architecture, or platform connectivity
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
  • Hands-on, player-coach leadership style
