As Onboarding Project Managers your key responsibility is to ensure a successful client onboarding and adoption of Optimizely’s platform and products. Your is goal is to successfully onboard the client from introduction to go-live. You will work closely with your onboarding team (4 colleagues), the client, partners involved in the project and the Optimizely organization to break down barriers to success and ensure your clients feel supported, informed and aligned as you help them get to Go-Live.


As Onboarding Project Manager you will

  • Own the onboarding phase of the customer journey
  • Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders
  • Support customers and partners during the full onboarding project lifecycle
  • Manage dependencies and risks within onboarding projects
  • Report on status of project to customer, partners, and management team
  • Schedule go/no go meetings, go-lives dates, and required personnel
  • Prepare and update project documentation (project plan, scope of work, status updates)
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Work with customers to develop and deliver projects that best serve their needs
  • When required, manage escalated customer issues via established escalation processes

 

About you

  • 2+ years of project management experience, with experience in various System Development Lifecycles
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Includes ability to interface with both non-technical business and technical stakeholders at all levels
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Process oriented and structured working style plus capable of handling multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication skills to serve as a liaison between technology, business, and client teams
  • Comfortable with adapting to a fast-changing environment
  • Experience from customizing technical implementation according to customer requirements and needs
  • Comfortable with holding customer presentations and product demonstrations
  • Enjoy collaborating across departments
  • Calm presence under tight deadlines
  • Driven by providing guidance when issues, challenges or problematic situations arise
  • Self-starter, consistent performer, positive attitude

Meritorious

  • Experience with customer personalization products
  • Experience with other content management systems
  • Experience with Optimizely CMS and Commerce
