Optimizely’s Data Platform is the core foundation of our Experimentation and Personalization products. The platform is built on a modern technology stack that operates at a scale of billions of events per day, enabling leading brands to accelerate their impact on the world by turning data into actionable decisions. We are looking for an experienced product manager to lead the further development of our Data Platform. A few of the areas you will own:

  • The results experiences and APIs that give customers a real-time view into the performance of their digital experiments on the metrics that matter most to them.
  • Our industry-leading Stats Engine that allows customers to understand the impact of their experiments and act with confidence.
  • The data ecosystem services, such as analytics integrations and Data Warehouse connectors, that help customers connect their experimentation data with the rest of their ecosystem to supercharge their analysis workflow.
  • Our data streaming and export services, enabling our customers to directly tap into event-level data to run their own analyses within their data science teams

As Product Manager you will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for our services and user experience. You’ll work with internal stakeholders across engineering, product, support, and customer success. You’ll also work directly with customers to develop a deep empathy for users of our platform and how the roadmap aligns to our overall business objectives.

You will succeed if you have:

  • 3-5 years SaaS product management experience, preferably working on analytics and/or data visualization products.
  • Strong technical background -- you’ll need to be comfortable working with senior engineers to make large-scale product, infrastructure, and roadmap decisions.
  • An analytical mindset. You approach problems from an inquisitive and scientific perspective. You are comfortable running quantitative analysis to help drive decisions but you also know how to balance quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Great communication skills. Asking questions, listening and driving group decision-making.
  • Preferably an understanding of the online marketing/web analytics landscape, supported by a background in statistics and experience with A/B testing and experimentation techniques.
  • Experience in Machine Learning / AI is a plus.
  • Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Snowflake, AWS is a plus
