 NP/PA Job in Alexandria, VA

Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical exams and health assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and manage acute/chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an ACEN/CCNE-accredited NP program.
• Active, unrestricted NP license.
• Board certification (ANCC or AANPCB).
• 2 years of recent direct patient care.
• BLS certification.

Physician Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical exams and order diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and assist with case management.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians.

Physician Assistant Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in PA Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited program.
• NCCPA (PA-C) certification.
• Active, unrestricted license.
• 2 years of direct patient care in the last 5 years.
• BLS certification.
