Pay: Hourly 
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, package, and label medications, including sterile IV solutions
  • Compound complex medications for surgery, ICU, dialysis, and neonatal care
  • Fill inpatient prescriptions and verify orders for duplication or dose issues
  • Maintain accurate records in line with Pharmacy Service SOP and JCAHO standards
  • Operate and program TPN (total parenteral nutrition) equipment and fluid transfer pumps
  • Manage investigational drug supplies and maintain documentation
  • Assist with drug utilization reviews and inventory management
  • Provide medication information to staff and patients when needed
  • Ensure narcotics and controlled substances are handled and recorded properly
  • Support pharmacy quality assurance and train newer technicians as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • PTCB Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC
  • Graduate of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician program, or successful completion of a formal technician training program
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Strong knowledge of medication preparation and sterile compounding techniques
  • Familiarity with automated pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work overnight hours
  • Skilled in age-appropriate care practices
