About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a mission-focused healthcare team serving military members, veterans, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
- Apply specialized knowledge in Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) when applicable
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and DoD standards
- Collaborate with physicians, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and other healthcare team members
- Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary planning
- May perform temporary duty travel (TDY) up to one week per month as required
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program (or predecessor organization)
- Completion of at least 6 months of clinical internship as part of the OT program curriculum
- Certification: Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted OT license in any U.S. state or territory
- Experience: Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements in accordance with credentialing standards
- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal facility access)
Schedule Details
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Variable shifts: Up to 2 days/week with extended hours (up to 7:00 PM)
- May require TDY travel (up to 1 week per month)
