Occupational Therapist

Location: Wright Patterson Air Force Base 
Schedule: Monday–Friday days

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a mission-focused healthcare team serving military members, veterans, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while delivering evidence-based occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
  • Apply specialized knowledge in Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) when applicable
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and DoD standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and other healthcare team members
  • Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary planning
  • May perform temporary duty travel (TDY) up to one week per month as required

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program (or predecessor organization)
  • Completion of at least 6 months of clinical internship as part of the OT program curriculum
  • Certification: Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted OT license in any U.S. state or territory
  • Experience: Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements in accordance with credentialing standards
  • U.S. Citizenship (required for federal facility access)

Schedule Details

  • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Variable shifts: Up to 2 days/week with extended hours (up to 7:00 PM)
  • May require TDY travel (up to 1 week per month)
