We are hiring up to two (2) Full-Time Permanent Centre of Excellence Senior Advisors working out of Edmonton, AB.

As a Senior Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of EPCOR’s transformation journey—streamlining enterprise planning processes, enhancing performance management systems, and harmonizing operations across departments. You’ll lead initiatives that improve efficiency, simplify workflows, and empower users through training, mentorship, and change management.

This is more than a technical role—it’s a strategic opportunity to influence how EPCOR plans, analyzes, and delivers value.

What you’d be responsible for

  • Championing the Centre of Excellence strategy and ensure alignment across EPCOR.
  • Leading improvements ERP/EPM systems (Oracle and Adaptive Insights), including financial model optimization, automation and process redesign.
  • Understanding business processes, business systems, financial management principles and data within Finance to develop innovative solutions that result in strong business performance.
  • Collaborating with Finance, IT, and business analysts to prototype new tools and applications, and develop new data-driven reports that meet evolving business needs.
  • Delivering training, developing materials, and guiding users through change with empathy and clarity.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring standardized, best-practice approaches.
  • Providing expert consultation in areas like process mapping, re-engineering, and implementation planning.
  • Influencing cross-functional teams and driving meaningful change across the organization.

What’s required to be successful

  • A degree in Business, MIS, or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institute is required.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP (Oracle) and/or EPM (Adaptive Insights) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with business processes and process redesign.
  • Strong background in business process design and an understanding of change management principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of database design, analytics, and metric development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate consensus

Wage: Starting at $52.35 per hour. Final Wage and Step will be determined at the time of selection and is based on a combination of factors as outlined in CA that may be found online.

Hours of work: 80 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday
