We are hiring one (1) Full-Time Permanent Centre of Excellence Senior Advisor working out of Edmonton, AB.

As a Senior Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of EPCOR’s transformation journey—streamlining financial planning processes, enhancing performance management systems, and harmonizing operations across departments. You’ll lead initiatives that improve efficiency, simplify workflows, and empower users through training, mentorship, and change management.

What you’d be responsible for
- Championing the Centre of Excellence strategy and positioning across Finance and EPCOR.
- Understanding finance processes, systems and data structures to identify innovative solutions that drive improved productivity, business performance, data integrity and controls.
- Leading improvements in the operation of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, to automate, streamline and standardize processes, and/or improve data integrity and controls.
- Resolving highly complex operational issues of the EPM system and the overall financial planning process to ensure the best outcome for the business.
- Managing the overall operation of the EPM system including maintenance, implementing structural updates, financial models and changes, and supporting and training users.
- Prototyping and implementing new financial models, tools, reports and integrations within the EPM and financial planning process while collaborating with IT and the business.
- Delivering training, developing materials, and guiding users through change with empathy and clarity.
- Providing expert consultation in areas like process mapping, re-engineering, and implementation planning.
- Influencing cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change across the organization.
What’s required to be successful
- Completion of a Degree in Business, MIS, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP (Oracle) and/or EPM (Adaptive Insights).
- Strong background in finance business process design and change management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Power Query
- Deep understanding of database design, analytics, and metric development.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate consensus
