Highlights of the job   

 

We are hiring a full-time Financial Analyst I to work out of our corporate office in north central Phoenix.   

This position will perform comprehensive income statement analysis to identify and track budget variances; perform revenue and operating expense analysis; support business unit operational metric reporting; and provide financial results reporting and analysis. In addition, this position will provide various ad hoc reporting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.   

 

What you’d be responsible for   

 

  • Act as primary finance support by providing variance analysis and business recommendations based on monthly income statement analysis.
  • Provide income statement analysis and insight regarding trends and opportunities.
  • Understand the key drivers of financial results in order to provide insightful reporting and analysis.
  • Provide objective analytical support to help influence and reinforce business decisions.
  • Understand revenue and expense forecasts and inputs during annual budget and forecasting processes.
  • Understand impact of GAAP, IFRS, and Regulatory rules on financial statements.
  • Represent FP&A on key corporate initiatives to support the growth of the business.
  • Ad hoc projects.

 

What’s required to be successful   

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of finance experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Adaptive Insights, Oracle, or other large budget and accounting software a plus
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and collaboration work skills
  • Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
  • Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and operate in an ambiguous, structured but changing environment
