With that in mind, we are looking for a strong Talent Manager who will help lead talent attraction and bring new ideas to the mix.

Using your experience you'll guide the agency in new paths to hire unique and amazing talent. You'll also adopt and leverage existing tools and practices that have been the foundation to support our hiring practices. 

As EP+Co's Talent Manager, you'll advocate for the agency as well as the people we hire. We believe that each and every person at the agency makes us better. With that, you'll be the extension of our brand and values to new hires, candidates, and organizations. Hiring is the start of a relationship, and one we hope will be long and mutually beneficial to our business and the new employee. The Talent Manager represents our agency and needs to provide a best in class experience for those we attract. 

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with senior level leadership to understand talent needs that support our vision and agency aspirations
  • Identify and build relationships with uniquely talented creatives, strategists, account folks and more by embedding yourself in the agency and marketing space – building a network of the best in the industry and the up-and-comers alike via networking, award shows, and design and schools across the country
  • Manage full cycle talent attraction and hiring and provide an inspiring experience for all talent. Positions you'll hire will include Account Directors and Supervisors, Planning Directors, Creative Tech Developers, Content and Graphic Designers, Production and Motion.
  • Build strategies to attract the best and brightest talent in the industry that is going to guide our agency into the future and make breakthrough, award-winning work.
  • Partner with D&I council to support the agency’s focus on talent diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and goals.
  • Collaborate with broader talent and HR team to maintain and build innovative and efficient recruiting approaches.
  • Focus on continuous best-in-class talent delivery and hiring processes, adhering to agency and employment legal and compliance guidelines.


Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience, ideally in a creative or marketing industry – either in a talent/recruiting, resourcing, production or other creatively-focused role that focuses on identifying and/or casting talent.
  • An eye and appreciation for the craft of design, writing and impactful storytelling.
  • A passion for our business in general, which is contagious and translates into the ability to inspire and excite talent to want to be a part of creating great work with us
  • Consultative and collaborative communication skills while working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and change when it comes to business needs and staffing.
  • Experience with and knowledge of all legal aspects of recruitment and selection, discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, federal/state wage and hour laws.
