EP+Co is looking for an Associate Director of Digital Production to help lead the digital production team. We’re looking for someone who’s right-brain driven with a left-brain for managing projects and cultivating talent to support an eclectic roster of global and national brands across EP+Co and Hill Holliday. Someone who can look at even the most harebrained creative idea and figure out the best way to pull it off in an age where budgets aren’t what they used to be.  Mission for this role:

To cut to the chase: We are in search of an effective leader of a cross-functional team that delivers best in class digital experiences. We need someone who can develop both products and people. In this role, you will manage a team of digital producers as well as some of your own projects, ensuring team success and delivery of website builds and updates, e-commerce, content management systems, mobile apps, CRM, emails, banners, emerging tech, and anything else we can dream up in the digital space. You will partner with Account Management to lead strategic conversations with clients to identify technology needs, provide digital insights relevant to client products and services, and ensure the best work is being delivered. You’ll help sell in and scope projects, forecast and manage Creative Tech team allocations and resources, and help establish and implement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in an ever-changing digital landscape. This role reports to the VP, Director of Digital Production.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee senior, mid-level, and associate Digital Producers with a macro view across all relevant client accounts. This role oversees a total of 11 producers with four direct reports.
  • Partner closely with Technology and Experience Design team leads to ensure collaboration and communication between specialties.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance for producers to resolve issues, enforce process, mediate conflict, and launch successful projects.
  • Be a thought-leader who understands digital best practices and can apply them to our clients’ business. Be an educator and tech ambassador to other internal teams and clients.
  • Work with agency department leads to prospect and cultivate new digital opportunities.
  • Recommend creative solutions to problems and assist colleagues in troubleshooting & brainstorming.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and feedback to Digital Production team.
  • Ensure direct reports feel supported and appropriately challenged.
  • Effectively connect resourcing assignments and team members to create the right opportunities for individuals and project teams.
  • Cheerlead and champion the work and the people.
  • Engender an inclusive environment for all team members to do their best work.


  • Establish product roadmaps in partnership with Strategy and Account Management across various accounts.
  • Partner with Director to help build systems and processes that support an evolving business and consumer landscape.
  • Collaborate with creative, XD, technology, and strategy teams to identify ways to infuse technology into client work and ensure highest quality digital work is delivered consistently.
  • Understand core technologies related to the development of digital products.
  • Oversee and help manage the ever-shifting resourcing for the Creative Technology department.
  • Lead daily department  meetings to ensure all groups remain aligned.
  • Serve as an escalation point for project teams that require support on issues or communication.
  • Partner with Director to forecast revenue and assign and track utilization against staffing estimates, ensuring workflow and team are properly balanced.
  • Partner with agency leads on new business opportunities and RFP responses.
  • Manage some amount of client and internal projects to support the team.
