Senior Graphic Artist

The Senior Graphic Artist supports all phases of the design and production processes by helping to produce error-free mechanicals and preparing accurate pre-press files that result in timely, high-quality (design and pre-press) and cost-effective outputs of print and digital deliverables.

The Job:

  • Flexible, passionate graphic artist who is willing to jump in and tackle projects with a team mentality
  • A keen eye for detail and quality assurance/control (QC), and strict brand compliance to ensure our files are built accurately and to a high standard
  • Skilled in maintaining an organized file management system for ease of cross-referencing historical files
  • Builds mechanical files flawlessly and efficiently while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Communicates workflow concerns upstream to account and creative teams to streamline for better efficiency
  • Ability to interpret brand style guides for development of client pitch presentations
  • Partners with the creative team to edit mechanicals, including manipulating images and ensuring ads can produce well on all media
  • Helps shape a non-traditional workflow while mitigating risk and minimizing unnecessary rounds and “touch points”
  • Mounts layouts on boards or creates comps for client presentations as needed
  • Assists in training development and mentor guidance of junior members of the team
  • Combines transactional/manufacturing pace with strong design ideation/integrity


 Required Experience:

  • 3–5 years of graphic artist and/or studio design experience in both digital and print
  • Skilled proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Google Slides, Google Drive
  • Ability to absorb and apply strict brand guidelines that evolve
  • Detail oriented with ability to interpret and apply brand design rules to a variety of deliverables, in both digital and print media
  • Creative acumen requiring discernment of instruction to own the ask from image search to file build, revision to prep/release (The role is intended to be a flex/hybrid of all graphics talents to efficiently and effectively execute work) 
  • Ability to turn requests quickly to satisfy regional needs efficiently, accurately and professionally
  • Be amenable to potential flex or coverage hours to serve clients in various time zones
  • Digital HTML knowledge and stock house licensing experience is a plus
