SENIOR DIGITAL PRODUCER - CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY

Websites, mobile apps, e-comm, banners, emerging tech... you get the gist. The Digital Production team sits within the Creative Technology department and manages the delivery of all these and more. We’re tech-savvy problem solvers that help bring ideas to life online. We determine not only the resources needed to make work happen, but the best approach to take to ensure products get to market on time, on budget, and perform well. We are the gateway to the Creative Technology group, leading with business strategy and supporting execution.

EP+Co is looking for a Senior Digital Producer to help lead the digital production team. We’re looking for someone who’s right-brain driven with a left-brain for managing projects and cultivating talent to support an eclectic roster of global and national brands across EP+Co and Hill Holliday. Someone who can look at even the most harebrained creative idea and figure out the best way to pull it off in an age where budgets aren’t what they used to be.  Mission for this role:

We are in search of someone with  a product manager mindset who can lead cross-functional teams to deliver on anything from enterprise level software platforms, website builds, e-commerce, content management systems, and mobile apps to CRM, emails, banners, emerging tech, and anything else we can dream up in the digital space. You will partner with Account Management to lead strategic conversations with clients to identify technology needs, provide digital insights relevant to client products and services, and ensure the best work is being delivered. You’ll help sell in and scope projects, help enforce processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness in an ever-changing digital landscape. This role reports to the Associate Director of Digital Production and is remote eligible.


Key Responsibilities:

Execution

  • Establish product roadmaps in partnership with Strategy and Account Management for your assigned brands.
  • Gather and define product requirements and goals, synthesize requirements into actionable scopes and staffing plans, effectively manage project teams to deliver scope on time and budget to hit profitability goals.
  • Build, maintain, and evangelize detailed project plans. Manage teams to meet schedule requirements.
  • Gain consensus and confidently make key decisions that balance schedule, resourcing, and profitability considerations. 
  • Identify best tools and systems (existing or new) for a project; manage and maintain assets and other project files within those systems. 
  • Have the ability to problem solve with a business minded approach, effectively assess risk and exude a flexible attitude to efficiently plan contingencies.
  • Lead marketing client & vendor communication in coordination with other team members on all digital lines of business. Represent technology, processes, resourcing, and schedule management to client IT and vendor teams in partnership with creative tech leads.
  • Collaborate with creative, XD, technology, and strategy teams to identify ways to infuse technology into client work and ensure highest quality digital work is delivered consistently.
  • Understand core technologies related to the development of digital products.
  • Serve as an escalation point for project teams that require support on issues or communication.
  • Maintain an eye toward larger agency and client goals. Contribute to strategy for achieving defined digital milestones.

Leadership

  • Partner closely with Technology and Experience Design team leads to ensure collaboration and communication between specialties.
  • Manage 1-2 digital producers. Provide day-to-day support and guidance for direct reports to resolve issues, enforce process, mediate conflict, and launch successful projects. Ensure direct reports feel supported and appropriately challenged.
  • Serve as digital production brand lead for assigned clients. Oversee the overall health of the digital work for those brands and the effectiveness of technology being delivered for them. Help prospect and cultivate new opportunities. 
  • Be a thought-leader who understands digital best practices and can apply them to our clients’ business. Be an educator and tech ambassador to other internal teams and clients.
  • Recommend creative solutions to problems and assist colleagues in troubleshooting & brainstorming.
  • Effectively connect resourcing assignments and team members to create the right opportunities for individuals and project teams.
  • Cheerlead and champion the work and the people.
  • Engender an inclusive environment for all team members to do their best work.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams to deliver products in support of key business goals
  • Best in class project management principles with proficiency in PM tools and processes
  • Understanding of creative and digital best practices
  • 5+ years experience owning and managing high complexity digital projects in a fast paced environment
