WORK ENVIRONMENT 
 This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to accommodate varying time zones and work hours to effectively collaborate with a global team.
 
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, Product Marketing will spearhead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive engagement, usage, and satisfaction with EO's products. This role will play a critical part in positioning EO’s offerings to both new and existing members, ensuring that our products align with member needs and deliver exceptional value.
 
The Director will ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency across all marketing efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns that align with EO's mission and business goals. With a high level of autonomy and ownership, this role will directly contribute to the organization's growth objectives, while being at the forefront of innovation—shaping the future of EO’s product offerings and transforming member experiences on a global scale.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy that supports EO’s business goals and enhances the member experience. Focus on increasing member acquisition, engagement, retention, and satisfaction. 
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging for EO’s products and services that resonate with target audiences. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and member touchpoints.
  • Drive Growth: Directly contribute to the organization's Growth OKRs by enhancing member engagement, acquisition, and retention through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead the development and execution of GTM plans for new product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product rollouts and adoption among members.
  • Member Journey: Map and consistently update the customer journey documentation. Leverage these insights for all programs and launches to align products with member needs.
  • Member Insights & Market Research: Conduct market research and gather member insights to inform product development, positioning, and marketing strategies. Identify trends, member needs, and opportunities to enhance EO’s product offerings.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling content that communicates the value of EO’s products and services, including marketing collateral, case studies, webinars, and product videos.
  • Collaboration with Regional & Chapter Teams: Work closely with regional and chapter teams to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns to address the unique needs of members in different regions and chapters.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve member engagement and satisfaction with EO’s offerings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, including the Product, Communications, Creative Services, and Growth teams, to ensure alignment on product marketing goals and strategies. Act as a primary liaison with the Product Team, ensuring a strong partnership and integration of efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Leverage both internal and external resources to build a high-performing team. 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing with a proven track record of launching and marketing products that drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, product positioning, value proposition development, and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, including geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging, influence stakeholders at all levels, and build consensus across departments and cultures.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in leveraging data to drive decision-making, optimize marketing strategies, and track performance.
  • Deep knowledge of product marketing principles, including go-to-market (GTM) strategy, positioning techniques, and content development.
  • Strong leadership abilities and collaborative skills, capable of managing teams effectively and working across various departments.
  • Familiarity with the franchise or membership-based organization sector is a plus.
  • Experience in driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • International experience and multilingual skills preferred.
