Enphase is seeking Associate Engineers who are motivated, self-driven graduates who have majored in electrical/electronics, mechanical, software or computer system engineering. The right candidates will be passionate about renewable energy, product design and development. 
 
Do you want a career designing leading edge power electronics and control systems, advanced mechanical product design, embedded system or software development, verifying product against some of the world’s toughest standards or architecting the next generation microgrid systems?  Enphase has opportunities in all these areas for associate engineers. Various Associate Engineer roles will be available on our hardware, systems, test automation, mechanical engineering and compliance teams. 
 
Requirements:
  • You are soon to complete or have recently completed your BEng in electrical/electronics, software, computer systems, mechanical or mechantronics. 
  • OR you have a couple years’ experience.
  • For the Associate Engineers joining our World Wide Compliance team additional experience in safety, EMC and environmental requirements is an advantage. For that of the Mechanical team CAD (Solidworks preferred) experience will also be advantageous. 
What you can expect in your role:
  • You will be part of a team working in a fast-paced, well equipped lab environment developing and testing micro-inverter products.
  • You will develop your skills in board level designs, test design, fault diagnosis, debugging and problem solving.
  • You will touch firmware, hardware, test automation, product validation, compliance, custom ASICs and advanced power electronics.

About the Christchurch team
 
The Enphase Energy New Zealand facilities are in Middleton and Wigram, Christchurch.  These are Research and Development Centres focused on the design and testing of our cornerstone product, the Microinverter. Enphase New Zealand has a team of around 110+ engineers and support staff. We also work closely with our Research and Development colleagues in California, Texas and Bangalore.
