Description

Responsible for helping to drive annual and rolling six-week objectives and KPIs, budgeting, operating cadence, headcount/recruiting, process design, team communications, contract /vendor management, cross-company collaboration, and management reporting in weekly and quarterly ops reviews and product and sales meetings.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Help drive alignment with corporate strategy, objectives, and planning process; set KPIs in partnership with marketing leadership; create a process to continually prioritize and track marketing initiatives; develop and manage the CMO dashboard and roadmap; and serve as the connective tissue across the marketing team
  • Lead finance and budgeting process, track spend, provide management reporting
  • Drive weekly marketing operating cadence to maintain alignment and focus on strategic, tactical, and operational beats
  • Standardize marketing systems, processes, and tools to increase team efficiency, coordinate work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, provide governance, and ensure compliance
  • Serve as the strategic interface to key cross-functional business stakeholders to develop budgets, manage commitments, and ensure timely communications and reporting; serve as a key interface to partner functions (finance, IT, support, HR, legal)
  • Drive alignment between marketing and sales on joint goals and metrics
  • Lead vendor management and contract process across marketing and develop a roster of world-class agencies, freelancers, contractors, and vendors; monitor performance and manage the payment process
  • Establish and maintain a digital asset management system and ensure compliance
  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing training and development programs
  • Lead culture-building efforts across the marketing organization — including regular communications, all-hands meetings, team-building efforts
  • Drive resource planning, recruiting, and talent management efforts across marketing leadership.


Credentials:

  • A strategic problem solver with the proven ability to structure a data-driven approach to complex business challenges and opportunities
  • Experience running strategic marketing programs, including campaign workflows, timelines, asset development and budget tracking
  • Outstanding decision-making skills and ability to drive progress and produce results with little oversight
  • Excellent project and workflow management skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Collaborative leader who fosters a fast-paced culture of curiosity, creativity, and innovation
Desired experience – the following will be an advantage:
  • 10+ years experience in b2b and d2c marketing positions in an operational role
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology and automation systems, processes, and tools
