About the role
As a Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate payroll processing for Enphase Energy, Inc and its subsidiaries, managing compliance with internal and external requirements The Global Payroll Manager ensures payroll, timekeeping, and data visualization relating to payroll are maintained.
 
This role is a maternity cover contract, for a period of 1 year. You will be home office based and working with colleagues on the Payroll team who are based around the world and in different time zones.

What you will do
  • Ensure proper payment of wages and salaries by preparing multi country payrolls, assuring the payroll systems are correctly processing salaries and reported hours worked, correctly utilizing paid leave and holiday pay, and correctly computing overtime
  • Maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll calculations including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions and withholdings. Assures that the payroll systems are working as expected and in compliance with government laws, rules, and regulations
  • Manage payroll systems including new employee set-up, profile changes, and project updates
  • Update and maintain payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in wages, deductions, new hires, terminations, and department/ division transfers
  • Maintain compliant payroll records for quarter and annual tax filings and internal/external audits
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation
  • Balance payroll GL accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Document payroll related policies and procedures
  • Ensure the timely completion of all payroll tax reporting requirements and the issuance of tax documents
  • Prepare monthly journal entries related to payroll
  • Manage salary and headcount data metrics
  • Adhoc reporting

Who you are and what you bring
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience processing global payrolls
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or business, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level)
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication, including successful cooperative working relationships within teams and across functions, as well as with external contacts
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation/processing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with working from home
