What will you do.
  • APQP/PPAP Administration: Manage the submission and review process of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents. 
  • Systemic Solutions Support: Act as a key contributor and System Administrator for the deployment of new electronic tools for supplier quality management. 
  • Supplier Data compliance: Audit suppliers supporting quality documents to ensure they meet Enphase requirements before final SQE approval.  
    • Ensure that all suppliers have completed the qualification steps before releasing them to production by developing dashboard to help SQEs track suppliers documentation. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify GAPs in the Quality documentation and propose fixes and improvements. 
  • Data-Driven Quality Engineering:
    • Develop and automate quality dashboards to track Supplier DPPM, Yield, and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ). 
  • Supplier Audits & Corrective Actions: Conduct on-site process audits and lead the 8D/SCAR process, ensuring suppliers implement data-verified root cause closures.
  • Operational Flexibility: Exhibit high flexibility to adapt to shifting roles and schedules to align with Enphase’s global operations. 
  • Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Oversee the inspection of incoming electronic components (PCBA, magnetic materials) and mechanical parts provided by CM sub-suppliers to ensure they meet specifications. 
  • Process Verification: Ensure the Supplier is following the approved Control Plan. 
  • NPI Support: Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) stages helping SQEs to track the completion of Line Qualification Dashboard, FAI (First Article Inspection) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and assisting in pilot production builds.
 Who you are and What you bring.
  • Education: College studies in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience, preferably Supplier Quality and Data analytics.
  • Technical Core:
    • Basic knowledge in Quality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, QCP and FMEA.
    • Strong proficiency in Data Analytics and visualization tools.
  • Mindset: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to act as a "superuser" or admin for new software tools.
  • Standards: Desirable basic knowledge of IPC-A-610 (acceptability of electronic assemblies).
  • Environment: Frequently involves a mix of professional office settings, cleanrooms/labs, and active construction or fabrication sites. 
  • Physical Demands: May require standing for long periods, few times lifting to 35–60 pounds. 
  • Exposure to contract manufacturing partnership.
  • Working experience in manufacturing industry and data collection.
  • A clear desire to grow into a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) role.
