We’re looking for a Staff Hardware Engineer to join our Research and Development Centre located in Wigram, Christchurch.
The Staff Hardware Engineer will be developing technology for the next generation of Enphase micro-inverters and grid interface products.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Research and develop hardware for Enphase micro-inverters and grid interface products
• Specify, design, test and troubleshoot new product designs
• Manage product designs through the Enphase new product development process
• Provide mentoring to junior Engineers

Skills and Qualifications:
• BE, BSc, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years minimum experience in developing products from concept stage to market launch
• Experience taking products through international compliance testing
• Experience designing power, analogue and digital electronics circuits
• Knowledge of circuit schematics, PCB layout and simulation tools
• Exposure to Python, C or FPGA design would be considered an advantage
