Durham Family Medicine is currently seeking a full time, experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in our Durham, North Carolina location. This individual Individual must have knowledge and experience with vital taking, point of care testing (A1c, Glucose, UA, Pregnancy test, rapid flu and strep testing). Primary Care experience is preferred!

This position is for an individual with a caring heart and the ability to multi task.Hours are M- F full time,with one late night 10am-7pm. 

Job description includes Vitals, EKG, Pre-visit planning for each patient daily, assisting with in house procedures, Injections, stocking exam rooms, triage patients, maintain and respond to messages from patients. EHR knowledge and experience is required.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of experience, preferrably in a family medical practice
• A strong knowledge of EMR
• A strong knowledge of medical assistant duties to include injections (adult and pediatric), assisting with procedures, EKG's and blood draws, vaccines
