JOB SUMMARY


 

In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Director of Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations, you will be a key driver of new business, championing our technological innovation and embodying the "Empyrean Way To Win." As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will lead the charge in redefining outbound engagement strategies within the dynamic landscape of tech sales, with a primary focus on creating positive and lasting prospect experiences. Your role is integral to our commitment to innovation, necessitating a departure from the conventional connect/convert model to a more sophisticated connect/engage/convert/expand approach. As an Account Development Representative at Empyrean, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward by embracing innovative outbound engagement strategies and driving top of funnel qualified meetings.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 

  • Strategic Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with go-to-market teams to strategize and identify key targets for business development.
    • Provide valuable insights and narratives that highlight Empyrean's unique value proposition.
  • Multi-Channel Pipeline Building
    • Drive pipeline growth across the Americas Enterprise business by leveraging six sales channels: phone, email, LinkedIn, gifting, text, and video.
    • Conduct high-impact conversations with prospects to generate early-stage opportunities.
  • Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership
    • Create awareness of Empyrean's services and offerings by sharing relevant industry news, events, and thought leadership-style engagement.
    • Maintain close, professional, and strategic relationships with prospects through ongoing engagement initiatives.
  • Long-Term Engagement Strategies
    • Execute outbound strategies focused on building sustained engagement with prospects over time.
    • Innovate and experiment with approaches that move beyond conventional appointment setting tactics, capturing prospect attention in a saturated market.
    • Embrace an evolving sales landscape by extending your role beyond traditional appointment setting.
    • Position yourself as a thought leader and strategic partner in the industry, contributing to Empyrean's reputation as an innovative force.
  • Collaborative Feedback Loop
    • Work closely with Marketing and Enterprise Account Executives to provide feedback and suggestions for content and cadence improvements.
    • Collaborate on developing compelling content that resonates with target personas.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES


 

  • Strong outbound sales strategies and willingness to embrace a new approach to outbound engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on transparency and relationship-building
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) principles

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
    • In lieu of Bachelor's degree, equivalent years of experience selling into human resources or a related field
  • 2-3 years of inside sales-related experience, selling B2B in a tech sales environment
  • 2+ years of demonstrable expertise in Salesforce, and other sales tools like Zoominfo, Outreach, Hubspot, BenefitFlow, etc
