This is a remote position with some travel requirements.
Role Overview
In this role, you'll be the driving force behind marketing, selling, and supporting our avionics products and services at Elliott Aviation. You’ll create detailed specs, build comprehensive proposals, and put together spreadsheets to ensure everything is ready for our customers when they need it. Your main goal? To help us hit or exceed our profit targets! You’ll also dive into customer sales activities to fuel business growth and support our Regional Sales Managers in closing deals with potential customers. Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales: Engage with customers and actively participate in sales activities to boost business growth.
- Craft Proposals: Create detailed specifications and build comprehensive proposals tailored to customer needs, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our Regional Sales Managers, Department Managers, and Engineering team to gather the right info and pricing for sales.
- Up-sell & Maximize: Identify opportunities to up-sell during the proposal process to enhance sales of both new and existing products.
- Coordinate Efforts: Support our sales initiatives by coordinating with customers, scheduling teams, and operations personnel.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure high quality and accuracy in all specifications and proposals, meeting or exceeding turnaround times.
- Support Our Vision: Contribute to our sales goals and objectives while embodying Elliott Aviation’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Stay Organized: Keep our prospecting database and CRM updated, manage expense reports, and complete weekly activity reports.
- Innovate: Share your ideas for new products and initiatives that can enhance our offerings.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful avionic sales experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with turbine, turbo prop, and piston aircraft avionics systems.
- Computer Skills: Basic skills to track and report sales activities.
- Travel Ready: Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings.
