This position is responsible for providing detailed, functional, and operational inspection of mechanical and electrical aircraft systems, components, modifications, repair/rework, and experimental aircraft in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide regular reports and updates on aircraft status.
- Consult with manager on matters concerning airworthiness, productivity, and quality control effectiveness.
- Meet established departmental productivity and financial goals by promoting safety, quality, efficiency, communication, and customer satisfaction.
- Work with sales personnel, managers, crew chiefs, technicians, and other inspectors to maximize the airworthiness, profitability, and timeliness of projects.
- Foster and maintain working relationships with external customers, OEM’s, vendors, etc.
- Assist with researching and resolving customer disputes with Airframe Services with regard to QC matters.
- Participate in solving complex quality and airworthiness related issues.
- Aid as required in interpreting complex technical data and specifications.
- Assist in developing training materials and guides for the Inspection department.

- Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work independently to meet key deliverables and objectives
- Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability of write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Excellent familiarity with a wide variety of aircraft maintenance operations that preferably include interior and paint operations
Other requirements include:
- A currently effective FAA Airframe and Power Plant certificate
- Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
- Minimum 10+ years experience in maintaining piston and turbine powered aircraft preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations pertinent to Repair Station operations
- Knowledge of computer maintenance tracking systems, CAMP’s STARS, CESSCOM, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
