This hands-on position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned aircraft projects this includes inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft seats, components, and systems.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Accept full ownership of assigned projects from pre-planning to delivery of aircraft projects
  • Manage projects by scheduling and assigning work for team members and monitoring day-to-day activities of team members for compliance and quality performance.
  • Oversee, complete, and maintain accurate & timely aircraft and project documentation
  • Inspect the seats, interior trim/panels for function, damage and quality from beginning of the project to installation to the completion.
  • Support, maintain, and comply with all environmental, health, safety, federal, OSHA, state and local regulations.
  • Assist in professional and on job training for all team members, keeping updated records of training requirements met and needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Excellent workmanship aptitude and a desire to initiate improvements
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Other requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
  • Cabinetry, Finish, or Paint experience preferred
  • Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
  • Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145
  • Five plus years Aircraft seat refurbishment experience necessary
  • Previous leadership role and supervisory experience necessary
