Base Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000
Variable Compensation: Recruiting commission based on eligible recruiting outcomes
About the Role
Elire is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to support both recruiting and HR operations as we continue to grow.
This role is designed for someone who enjoys variety, values strong relationships, and takes pride in helping people have a positive experience throughout their candidate and employee journey. You will play a key role in supporting recruiting efforts, onboarding activities, employee lifecycle processes, and Talent initiatives that help Elire scale effectively.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a willingness to take ownership while working collaboratively with others.

As Elire continues to grow, our Talent and HR functions must scale alongside the business. This position adds capacity across recruiting, onboarding, employee support, reporting, and process improvement.
When recruiting activity is high, you will help identify and engage talent, support hiring managers, and ensure candidates move efficiently through the hiring process. When recruiting demand shifts, you will contribute to HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, documentation, reporting, and Talent initiatives that improve the employee experience.
This is more than an administrative support role. You will be an active contributor to the systems, processes, and relationships that help Elire attract, hire, and retain great people.
What You'll Do
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Source candidates for consulting, subcontractor, intern, early-career, and internal opportunities.
- Conduct initial candidate screens and prepare candidate summaries for hiring managers.
- Support lower-complexity requisitions from intake through candidate submission and offer support.
- Help manage candidate communication throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and hiring activity records within Jobvite and related systems.
- Support college recruiting, internship programs, and early-career hiring initiatives.
- Re-engage known candidates, referrals, and subcontractors when new opportunities arise.
- Prepare interview materials, candidate briefs, and recruiting updates.
- Assist with recruiting metrics, reporting, and funnel management.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
HR & Talent Operations
- Support onboarding coordination for employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and process workflows.
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities including new hire setup, role changes, reporting, and internal communications.
- Support Talent initiatives focused on employee experience, documentation, reporting, and process improvement.
- Ensure candidate and employee information is handled accurately and confidentially.
- Contribute to special projects and operational priorities as business needs evolve.
Team Partnership
- Partner closely with the Talent & Recruiting Manager on recruiting priorities and hiring initiatives.
- Partner closely with the VP of Human Resources on HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to maintain an organized, responsive, and candidate-focused recruiting process.
- Help strengthen and scale Talent processes that support Elire's continued growth.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization through responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through.

Required Experience
- Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, HR coordination, HR operations, or a related candidate- or employee-facing role.
- Experience communicating effectively with candidates, employees, hiring managers, or business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up activities simultaneously.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems, CRM platforms, or similar business applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information appropriately.
- Ability to write clear candidate summaries, status updates, and professional communications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work from the Minneapolis area and participate in in-person activities as needed.
