We are seeking a Project Operations Executive to build and scale delivery capabilities, drive strategic operations, and provide technical expertise that strengthens our business acquisition efforts. This leader will ensure exceptional quality outcomes while advancing our competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Position Overview
The Project Operations Executive is responsible for the strategy, operations, and execution of construction activities within the Elevated business. This leader will oversee crews, forepersons, and project teams engaged in concrete, framing, drywall, carpentry, Mass Timber installation, and other trades, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance.
This role reports directly to the Business President of Elevated Construction and will serve as a trusted partner to the Business President, contributing both operational leadership and strategic insight. In addition, the Project Operations Executive will partner with senior leadership in strategic operations and bring technical expertise to support pursuits, proposals, and business acquisition activities. This position is both strategic and hands-on, blending business leadership with operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a project operations plan aligned with Elevated’s strategic goals and market opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the Business President, providing counsel and alignment on operational strategy.
- Support strategic operations initiatives in collaboration with enterprise leadership.
- Provide technical expertise to pursuits and business development teams, helping shape winning proposals and acquisition strategies.
- Build a scalable team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring field leaders and tradespeople.
- Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations to determine when and how in-house capabilities — including Mass Timber work — add value to pursuits and projects.
Operations Management
- Oversee activities on multiple projects, ensuring work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and schedule commitments.
- Manage resource planning, crew assignments, equipment utilization, and material procurement, with a focus on Mass Timber logistics and assembly sequencing.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost management.
Financial Performance
- Establish and manage budgets, cost tracking, and profitability goals.
- Partner with estimating to develop competitive pricing and bid strategies, including Mass Timber scope packages.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust operational plans as needed to ensure financial success.
Collaboration & Culture
- Act as the primary liaison between project teams and leadership, ensuring integration and alignment.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success managing multiple scopes in commercial, industrial, or complex project environments, including demonstrated Mass Timber installation leadership.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Experience providing technical expertise to support proposals, pursuits, and business acquisition.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and field technology tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $250,000 – $300,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus potential.
