Job Description
Production associate/ Painter
In thids role you will prepare transformers for resale by cleaning and painting.
Essential Functions:
• Surface prep including cleaning, sanding, rust removal, and tapping.
• Paint selection and mixing.
• Spray painting transformers in spray booth.
• Inspecting and assessing spray coatings.
• Removing tape and prepping the transformers for resale.
• Application of required decals.
• Responsible for maintaining painting equipment and painting work area.
• Follows prescribed safety procedures for facility operations and paint area production.
Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a spray painter.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
• Experience with breathing mask and personnel protective equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally.
