Position

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of Computer Systems supporting the Drug development programs. This position will be part of the IT Clinical Development System team and report to Sr Director Clinical Development Systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Create project plans including key milestones and resource allocation plans for IT systems projects for Clinical Development (e.g. Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Biometrics departments).
  • Build and maintain project communications including meeting minutes, status reports dashboards, and project documentation and records.
  • Understand and communicate project risk; Lead cross functional teams Control projects so key deadlines are met, decisions are made promptly, and risks and issues are managed.
  • Lead team meetings, create agendas, keep minutes, and drive actions to completion.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Coordinate project activities and communications from end users all the way to our vendors’ implementation team including project schedule, team member roles, action items, status reports, meeting notes, configurations, migrations, testing, training and documentation.
  • Drive successful rollouts of new systems/technologies & major enhancements in the Clinical Development business function to Eikon employees, consultants and partners as required.
  • Coordinate requirements, meetings and deliverables between internal business teams and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop repeatable project management processes to implement GxP (CFR Part 11 compliant) IT systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a combination of education/work experience.
  • PMP Certification is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of IT project management experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing GxP (CFR Part 11 Compliant) SaaS implementation projects in BioTech industry with applications such as MediData Clinical Applications, Oracle Argus, Veeva Vault.
  • Track record of successful project delivery with multiple concurrent GxP projects.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Collaborative skills in working with a wide range of users.
  • A keen interest in building tools and creating best practices for business teams.
  • Documentation of process flows, functional designs and system configurations.
  • Planning and scheduling timely completion of projects.
  • Self-starter with the ability to act and operate independently.
  • Natural curiosity to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

The expected salary range for this role is $124,000 to $143,000, depending on skills, competency and the market demand for your expertise.
