About the Position:

The Professional Services Sales Manager will play an integral role supporting the sale of Egnyte Services. This role will lead the Services scoping, quoting, and proposing of solutions that address specific customer business needs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in technology, consulting, and pre-sales to take a leading role in driving Egnyte’s growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Services attach to new and existing customers by engaging with customers and playing the lead role on opportunities
  • Partner with SaaS Sales on new business opportunities, articulate value of Egnyte Professional Services and engage in a timely manner to scope customer/prospect needs and present a Services proposal
  • Assist Customer Success teams on install base expand opportunities by engaging with customers to scope and propose solution/services
  • Create, review, and manage the technical scoping and pricing of proposals and SOW.
  • Continually search for ways to improve Services offerings and the methods by which services packages can be attached to increase deal velocity
  • Be the voice of PS Sales on internal Egnyte digital transformation programs to ensure cross functional teams implement robust processes & systems for the Egnyte PS line of business
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, e.g., with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales departments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Experience focused on technology consulting and/or pre-sales engineering, in customer facing roles.
  • 10+ years of experience working in an enterprise software company
  • Record of consistently meeting objectives and exceeding targets at top-performing companies
  • Demonstrated expertise in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and ability to learn new technology applications
  • Technical skills that cover the following areas:
    • Windows/Linux Server operating systems
    • Microsoft Active Directory and other IDPs
    • Virtualization experience (VMWare, Hyper-V)
    • Windows, Mac desktop experience
    • Storage platforms NAS, SAN a plus
  • Possess the necessary acumen and attitude required to get enabled on the technical aspects and usage of Egnyte migration tools
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with both technical and business team members
  • Strong experience in customer facing solution implementation roles (remote and onsite)
  • Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to a quick changing environment
  • Fluency of spoken and written command of English. Any other language is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
