We are looking for a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, Contractor to cover a leave for approximately 4-5 months. The position reports to our VP, Finance and is based out of our Mountain View, CA office at least 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will be working within the FP&A team to complete the development of a new suite of ARR and Churn reports, and other financial views of our data. We are in the final stages of migrating our billing systems to the Salesforce Revenue Cloud, and our financial reporting will be updated to incorporate data available from the new source.
The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of SaaS KPI’s and metrics, and experience working directly within a Finance organization. You will fluently understand financial requirements and a strong background in BI and Data Analytics.
We use Tableau for Data Visualization, and BQ/GCP for our Data Warehouse. Experience with these tools is a requirement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop an understanding of key business operations driving revenue and work with Finance to create SaaS metrics and reporting solutions to drive the business
- Partner closely with the finance team on all reporting developments to manage the creation of new reports and dashboards.
- Build new Data models that can be leveraged to answer recurring financial business questions (eg. Product volume & pricing, vertical sales, etc)
- Represent financial requirements, standards and controls when working with cross-functional data teams.
- Partner with the central Data Team to understand our business intelligence environment problems
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working on an analytics team focused on Customer Data and/or Financial SaaS KPI’s (eg fluency in ARR, GNARR and Churn is a must)
- Experience working with databases and scripting languages eg. SQL
- Experience using Python, R, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of data science concepts eg. Predictive modelling and Machine Language (ML) algorithms and confidence to independently apply to working models.
- Experience working with Tableau, Big Query and GCP
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.
COMPENSATION:
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard pay range for this position across the U.S. is $70 - $90 per hour. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
