We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented QA Engineer to work on some interesting and challenging projects as part of our Desktop team.

Your job will be to make meaningful contributions to Egnyte. On one hand, you’ll work on a global product used by 17k+ companies and over 200k active users, on the other hand, you’ll join a close-knit team where everyone is eager to help you out and share their expertise.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•  Developing our new PyTest automation and performance testing framework

•  Designing, maintaining and executing tests for Egnyte applications: we have plenty of automated test cases that are run continuously on many test environments.

•  Co-working with the team: developers, QAs and Product Owner to resolve issues

•  Implementing solutions for functional testing, performance testing, E2E testing, and continuous testing for various use cases including file serving, cloud orchestration, and API back-end components

•  Participating in scrum ceremonies as part of one of our product teams

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Automated testing focus

•  Experience in using Python

•  Experience in owning all aspects of quality assurance, from gathering requirements on refinements or by exploration through test designing, implementation, and verification 

•  Knowledge about testing methodologies (functional and nonfunctional)

•  Being able to investigate technical obstacles and cooperate with other engineers to overcome them

•  Being an effective and articulate communicator, able to get your point across

•  Passion for solving problems, improving things, and advocating for quality

•  Good English skills to effectively communicate about technical matters

•  Active university student status
