Associate Project Manager, Creative and Marketing Operations

Description

What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)

  • Work with the Project Manager (PM) and requesters to help implement and establish project goals and development of projects, keeping a pulse on each task to ensure proper execution within the deadline window
  • Assists the PM to plan, monitor, and coordinate Asana ticket queues 
  • Monitor project progress, follow up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases
  • Schedule and attend kickoff meetings with requesters and appropriate departments 
  • Provide daily and weekly oversight of projects and adjustment of task statuses for reporting needs
  • Review completed deliverables to ensure the needs of requestors are met and ready for review by requestors and/or QA team for testing in multiple environments.
  • Maintain project documents and reports
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and work with PM to implement effective fixes
  • Oversee project goals and ensure goals/deadlines are achievable; Streamline and resolve any issues promptly 
  • Review previous day/week’s tasks to ensure requestors have been notified 
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
  • Manage resource capacity of teams and flag choke points; Identify missing information or under-scoped requests and escalate to manager as needed
  • Participate in weekly campaign execution call with stakeholders ensuring fluid execution on projects across the Marketing department, escalate weekly key items at risk
  • Identify SLA gaps and work with PM to educate and enforce guidelines

Your Qualifications

  • 2+  years experience in project coordination / management role with creative or marketing operations with multinational teams
  • You're a people person and enjoy working with people from different disciplines and backgrounds
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana and Jira preferred
  • Familiarity with modern project management methodologies – scrums, kanban, agile, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills. Highly proactive in reaching out with updates and issues when they arise. This is critical as you will be working with a distributed team based in both the US and India
  • High attention to detail. Always striving for excellence.

  • Advertising or media agency experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Graduate degree required
