Tool Room Attendant - 2nd Shift

VT Industries – Eggers Division Neenah manufacturers 5-ply architectural wood flush doors, door slabs, prefinished, pre-machined, glazed, fire rated, lead lined, bullet-resistant, impact-resistant and acoustical doors.

Collects and disseminates information to and from other shifts, dispatches maintenance personnel, and maintains parts and supplies inventory.  Manages maintenance software systems for tracking supplies, managing work orders, tracking PM’s, tracking equipment down time, ordering supplies, etc.

    • Meets with previous shift personnel on maintenance and repair status
    • Assist personnel with supply room needs
    • Fill Grocery List of supplies for the different production work areas
    • Organizes, identifies, and labels parts inventory and tools
    • Records parts and tools issued in MP2
    • Monitor radio and dispatch Technicians and Maintenance Support as needed.
    • Enter Break Down calls into MP2
    • Data entry of PM sheets, Work Orders, and Break Down into MP2
    • Data entry of incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accuracy of parts inventory and use
    • Tag parts to be repaired in-house, enter into MP2, and place in proper staging area
    • Tag and package parts to be sent out for repair, enter into MP2, complete all paperwork, and stage in proper area for shipment (UPS, LTL Truck)
    • Order parts from vendors/suppliers.
    • Perform data entry of all purchase orders into MP2
    • Contact vendors/suppliers on parts that are past due.
    • Receive and put away incoming parts.
    • Update all WO’s with Receiving Shelf location for parts received for Work Order’s
    • Answers telephone and conveys information to appropriate personnel during and after normal business hours
    • Generate PM’s, Print, and distribute weekly
    • Perform Inventory audits, and physical counts
    • Invoice records approved and confirmed
    • Has good computer skills
    • Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Available for work 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 to 6 days per week
  • Assist with coverage of other shifts due to vacation, and illness.
  • Observes all safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Participates in daily production team meeting
  • Works individually or with team members as assigned, maintaining a positive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
