Sales Operations Data Analyst

Overview

The Sales Operations Data Analyst is an integral member of the Sales Operations organization, and will work with the Sales, Finance, Pricing, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Product & Engineering, and Client Services teams. Reporting to the Senior Sales Operations Analyst, this position is responsible for the analytic and reporting support for Sales pipeline and funnel, forecasting, commission processing and various other projects and tasks.

What you will do:

  • Develops and maintains sales analytics reports, dashboards and models for Sales pipeline, funnel, and forecasts, commissions, and other relevant key performance indicators.
  • Provides superior analytical support for the business on multiple Sales metrics.
  • Analyzes and collects data for various types of sales operations reports and analyses.
  • Communicate results of data analysis in written and verbal form to various roles including senior management
  • Creates and maintains new sales reports/dashboards as required – both in SalesForce.com, Excel based reports and other delivery methods.
  • General data entry, data management, and data integrity inspection of SalesForce.com and other data sources as needed.
  • Translate complex information into an easily understood format for business users.
  • Assist with the accurate processing of commissions.

Other Duties:

  • Provide UAT support for Salesforce.com changes related to Sales and Sales Operations roles.
  • Attend Sales Operations team and other meetings as required.
  • Update SharePoint content for Sales Operations Reporting, including Raydiant Hoopla channel report creation and presentation.

 

What you will bring:

  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced skills in Excel (including but not limited to: pivot tables, charts, visualizations, data modeling and Power Query)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools desired
  • Strong project management and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Communicate effectively across all functions and levels.
  • Ability to think independently and critically with a high attention to detail.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Sales or Sales Operations environment as a financial or business analyst
  • Analytical skills
  • Healthcare background and/or SaaS based company experience preferred.
  • Experience with QuotaPath or other Sales Compensation or Commission Tracking Software
  • BA/BS, preferably in Business, finance or technology field, highly desired, but not required.
