Sr. NOC Manager

Overview

Sr. NOC Manager would mainly focus on establishing seamless, end-to-end user experience for all Associates w.r.t IT systems, platforms & equipment.

What you will do:

  • Builds, mentors, & leads a world class India IT team to implement efficient Corporate solutions as well as supporting NOC, SOC, mobile, desktop systems, networking and executive team.
  • Drives optimization through use of contemporary technology improving efficiency and security in Enterprise, Corp, and Cloud-based systems
  • Develops methodology and analyses infrastructure capacity based on business forecasts and systems and capacity planning. Pro-actively addresses capacity issues. Maintains systems data and develops reports within meaningful service metrics and KPIs.
  • Works with lead engineers, admins and IT managers on developing, optimizing and improving dashboards for infrastructure and optimizing metrics for reporting to Leadership team.
  • Lead the team to support onsite and remote associates with Incidents and Service Requests related to client PCs, peripherals, client networking (wired and wireless), telephony and audio visual/video conferencing
  • Ensures end-user machines with various OS (including Apple MacOS) are in flawless working condition always
  • On-hand technical resources for off-hours and for off-site Executive/Leadership meetings and summits
  • Project Management requirements – develops and maintains PM docs such as project schedule, resource assignments, task estimates, document management plan.
  • Mentors and helps junior staff in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, network, and virtualization problems
  • Improves existing, as well as, designs and implements new processes, procedures, best practices and policies that support our Continuous Improvement efforts
  • Establish and implements security best practices globally
  • Backup and Log Management – auditing server backups, patching, and daily log review and analysis.
  • Lead in improvement of Standard Operating Procedures in all areas of IT
  • Available for on-call support of local and remote employees and traveling Executives as well as outages during business and after-hours. Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation process.
  • Other duties as assigned of a similar nature or level

What you will bring:

          10+ years’ experience in running IT organization in a global enterprise environment.

          5+ years’ experience in managing high performing IT team.

          Understanding of software life cycle, development and architecture experience

          History of working in a fast paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment

          Ability to lead influence others and find creative solutions and move quickly to deliver them.

          Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach and ability to measure impact of projects.

          Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications required.

          Excellent written and oral communication skills.
